Bailee and Devin’s wedding at The Meadows in Stirling, Ontario, was one of those days that reminds me exactly why I love photographing love stories. These two met in high school through mutual friends, and over the years they’ve built a life together that’s filled with family, laughter, and the kind of connection you can feel just by being in the same room with them. Bailee is quite literally the sweetest soul — the biggest angel — and you can just tell that Devin adores her. On the morning of her own wedding, she handed me a little gift bag and inside was a cross necklace because she remembered I love them. Who does that on their wedding day? I was shocked, overjoyed, and so grateful. That’s just who she is.

The Meadows has had such a beautiful glow-up recently. The bridal space is light and airy, with the perfect high-end feel while still feeling warm and welcoming. It’s such a dream location for a summer wedding, especially with its forest ceremony space. That’s where Bailee and Devin said “I do” on the sunniest, most perfect summer afternoon. The ceremony felt peaceful and intimate under the tall trees, with sunlight pouring through like something out of a storybook. Bailee shared a first look with her poppy before walking down the aisle, and I swear there wasn’t a dry eye anywhere.

One of my favorite parts of the day was that Bailee and Devin’s two boys, Braxton and Rhett, were there to celebrate with them. They brought such an extra layer of joy to the whole day. Whether they remember it when they’re older or just look back at all the photos, they’ll always know they were a part of their parents’ wedding, and I think that’s so special. Honestly, they made the day the most fun in my opinion!!

As the evening rolled in, we were blessed with maybe the prettiest golden hour I’ve ever seen. The light wrapped around them in the most magical way, turning their portraits into the kind of dreamy, timeless images I’ll be proud of forever. I also got to work alongside Jessica Byreiter from Still and Roam as their content creator, which was such a treat. She’s incredible at what she does and I can’t recommend her enough for couples who want all those behind-the-scenes moments captured too.

Bailee and Devin’s wedding was the perfect mix of romance, family, and heartfelt moments. I left that night feeling so grateful to have been a part of it all.
