YOUR PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY PHOTOGRAPHER & LOCAL.

WELCOME, WELCOME, WELCOME! I am so, so glad you’re here!

Photography is such an intimate art; it takes really getting to know my people to document them fully. But I also think it’s just as important for you to know who’s taking your photo…so, let me share a little about her!

I was born and raised in Prince Edward County in a family of five, and no matter where I go, PEC will always feel like home. It’s where I learned to love slow evenings by the water, golden-hour drives down back roads, and the feeling of being part of a close-knit community where everyone knows your name. Being from the County shaped me in ways I’ll never take for granted. It’s the reason I see beauty in the little things and in the kind of memories that tie people to places forever.

Now, I live just outside of PEC in Stone Mills with my partner, Dustin, our dog Khaleesi, and our two cats, Lou and Ren. We live on Dustin’s family farm, tucked away in what most people would call the middle of nowhere… and to me, it’s a dream come true. Life here is quiet and wide open, full of space to breathe and dream. There’s something about waking up to the sound of an old train and cows in the distance, watching the sun trickle through the trees, and knowing that this land has held generations before us and will hold memories long after. It’s the kind of place that reminds you what matters most: faith, family, and the little joys woven into everyday life.

The farm has given me more than a home; it’s given me inspiration. It’s where I find the stillness to recharge after long wedding weekends, where I swing in my hammock with a book (usually my Bible or, on the opposite end of the spectrum, a spooky novel), and where I feel closest to God. It’s a place that grounds me and also fuels my creativity. I’m often reminded of how blessed I am that this is where my story has led.

God gave me a camera, a calling, and a community and I’m just grateful every single day that I get to use them to serve others. My heart is in all of it. This work has shaped who I am, and it’s the greatest honour of my life to be invited into your story.

What I love most about being here is that it feels like legacy in motion. Just as I get to document the beginnings of legacies for my clients and students, I feel like we’re creating one here too! And I carry that same perspective into my work, knowing that every photo I take and every memory I get to help preserve is part of a story that will outlive me.

For a long time, I thought God’s purpose for me was only to be a photographer (and I loved that), but I’ve more recently realized He also gave me a deep love for teaching and guiding other photographers. Seeing my students succeed is one of the most rewarding parts of my life.

This little business of mine has shaped my entire world. I wouldn’t be who I am today without it, or without the clients and students who continue to trust me with their stories. Thank you so much for being here, and I hope I get to see you soon!!!!

PASSION FOR PRINCE EDWARD

Throughout the years, I’ve learned that the biggest luxury, next to family, is the place that I live.

Prince Edward County is a blessing in itself. I feel so lucky to have been born and raised in such a warm, inviting place - not to mention, incredibly beautiful. Here are a collection of prints from over the years that you are able to purchase and display in your own home. Take a bit of the County with you, if you will.
