Boudoir Giveaway | The Lovely Grace

Last December when Artistry by Jacquie and I hosted our first boudoir marathon, we weren't sure what we were getting into. All we knew was that our friendship had formed off of a girl power bond back in high school, and it seemed like a fun opportunity to work together and empower women who were willing to step out of their shell. Since last December, we have completed around 25 boudoir sessions and it's safe to say we have found a new love.

Our approach was originally to just help a few ladies feel beautiful, on top of gifting raw imagery of themselves to their special someone. Since then, our boudoir sessions (or Soul Sessions, as I like to say) have turned into so much more than that. It is unbelievable how many ladies we've met and connected with. Neither of us had any idea that these sessions would bring so much light into the lives of others, and of course ours. The depth of some of these connections amazes me; we've laughed a lot, squealed a lot (me), and even cried a few times. All in all, Jacquie and I are both so grateful to all the ladies that allow us to create gold with them. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

On Valentines this year, Jacquie and I hosted a boudoir giveaway. We were incredibly nervous because these sessions are so close to our heart and we didn't want to give it away to someone who didn't understand, didn't value, or wasn't grateful for it. The Universe absolutely pulled through and we were so happy when we congratulated Grace on her winning! It was so refreshing and again, we were the ones who felt empowered to be able to make someones day who completely deserved it. For those of you who don't know, Grace is an aspiring musician (hear EP here) so we had to include her guitar, and also an all around really cool person. I mean... look at those tattoos.

Grace, thank you for being an amazing human being to both Jacquie and I. There's nothing we love more than when someone is excited about what we do. We were supposed to be making you feel like a million bucks, but you actually made us feel that way. I love your images & I sure hope you do, too!
